Shenzhen Londian Electrics Co., Ltd., the subordinate enterprise of Huadian Energy Group which is one of the five largest state-owned power generation groups, was established in 1994 in Heilongjiang Province. Londian Electrics is a large-scale hi-tech modern enterprise specializing in the R&D and manufacture of electronic energy meters, standard metering devices and AMR management systems. At present Londian Electrics has about 50,000 square meters modern workshops in Shenzhen City and Harbin City with about 700 staff members.

The products developed by Londian Electrics cover most of the varieties and specifications of domestic metering industry. The performance and features of our goods have passed the newest standard tests in national power industry. Longdian Electrics also has taken the lead in attaining ISO 9001:2000 Quality System Certificate, ISO14001 Environmental Management System Certificate and European CE Certificate.

Londian Electrics owns abundant technical strength and a perfect marketing system. Londian products spread all over the world such as Southeast Asia, Europe, South America, and Australia. A strong R&D team, reasonable human resource structure, systemic core technology, long-term experience accumulation and deep understanding for metering industry have made our metering technology step into a new stage (viz. technology internationalization, product standardization and the application network). In the meantime, our branch offices and sales agents can provide the most convenient and effective technical support.

Londian Electrics owns about 100 members in R&D Dept., among whom 90% graduated from Junior Colleges and 10% have Master Degree; especially one of our employees is the expert member of National Electrical Instrument Standardization Technology Committee.

Londian Electrics R&D team absorbed a few prominent engineers for electronic energy meter design, who developed multi-function electronic energy meters with own Intellectual Property right. At the same time, Londian Electrics cooperates with relevant universities and research institutes at home and abroad to improve and strengthen our own capacity of technology research and development.

Londian Electrics Evaluation Centre was established in March 2009 (formerly known as Central Laboratory), which covers 300 square meters with 50 sets of testing equipment and a total value of nearly USD 0.6 million.

Londian Electrics Evaluation Centre is divided into two parts: Performance Lab and Function Lab. Londian Electrics Evaluation Centre can independently finish most of the electronic energy meter tests described in IEC62052-11-2003, IEC62052-21-2003 and IEC62053-22-2003.

Londian Electrics will be devoted to designing and developing new products which meet the management demands of modern electric power enterprises.

Londian Electrics has set up a series of continuous and effective quality management systems according to ISO9001-2000 standard. We also attained SGS certification and BSI certification. In 2006, Londian Electrics took the lead in applying for ISO14001 environmental management system certificate, undertaking the social environmental responsibility and adding environmental protection ideas into product development process. In March 2007, Londian Electrics gained ISO140001 Certificate signed by BSI.

Based on ISO9001 system, Londian Electrics has set up a complete set of enterprise standards and systems for product design and development, component purchase, manufacturing process control, inspection and service. These enterprise standards and systems improved our quality management greatly.
